The City of Montgomery, Alabama requests qualifications from design professionals licensed and/or registered in the State of Alabama to provide professional services from various Departments throughout the City of Montgomery, Alabama. The City of Montgomery, Alabama is seeking to establish a list of qualified Professional Service Providers (i.e., architects, engineers, etc.) and related Specialty Consultants for wide range of planning and design services, construction administration and inspection services, and facility improvements.
Consultants will perform engineering, architecture, and related services for City projects on an as-needed, Task Order Basis. Consultants will be required to execute a Task Order which will specify the scope of services, task schedule, and compensation. Each Task Order will become a part of the Owner/Consultant Agreement. The following fields of expertise are contemplated to be typical services to be provided by the selected, qualified Consultants for any given Task Order.

Firms desiring to provide the professional services described shall submit one (1) electronic copy of your firm's Letter of Interest (LOI) containing all the requested information no later than the date and time specified in this solicitation. [...] Each respondent shall fully execute the *Understanding of RFQ Procedures, Terms and Conditions, Attachment A* and submit with the proposal.
Qualifying firms will be added to the City of Montgomery's Master List of qualified Professional Service Providers and related Specialty Consultants. Selected firms will remain on the list for two years. At the end of the two-year period, firms must re-submit an updated Qualification Packet.
The qualified consultant must be licensed to conduct business in the State of Alabama, must be a licensed professional engineer in the State of Alabama and must carry a General Liability Insurance policy at a minimum of **$1,000,000** (the City of Montgomery must be named as an additional insured). Certificate of insurance must be provided with fully executed Owner/ Consultant Agreement.
Evaluation of qualifications will be performed by City Staff on the firm's ability to meet the requirements of this RFQ. Relevant criteria will include:
1. EXPERIENCE SUCCESSFULLY PERFORMING PROJECTS FOR MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT CLIENTS IN THE STATE OF ALABAMA.
2. EXPERIENCE DELIVERING PROJECTS PER THE ALABAMA PUBLIC WORKS BID LAW (TITLE 39)
3. EXPERIENCE WITH CURRENT BUILDING CODES
4. EXPERIENCE WITH VARIOUS FEDERALLY FUNDED GRANT PROGRAMS
