MAG Spec Material

The City of Avondale invites Quotes for MAG Spec Materials in accordance with the specifications and provisions contained in this Request for Quotations ("RFQ") on an as-needed basis (the “Material”) for a period of 12 months.

Equipment/Product Description

• 3/8" cold mix asphalt material
• MAG ABC base material
• Cold mix & ABC materials, will require delivery to designated City of Avondale locations
• Hot asphalt mix - MAG 3/8”
• Hot asphalt mix - ½” high volume
• Hot asphalt mix - ¾” high volume
• Hot asphalt materials will be picked up by City staff

Delivery locations will be designated by the City on an as-needed basis and may be anywhere within Avondale city limits. Quoted unit prices shall include all delivery costs to any City-designated location within the city limits. No additional delivery, fuel, mileage, or location-based charges will be permitted.

Quantity is an estimated usage; the actual number will be specified in a purchase order.

Bid price shall be made F.O.B. Destination to the designated delivery points within the City.

Vendors must state the manufacturer of each product quoted on in conformity with the specifications.

All quotations must be signed with the firm name and by an authorized agent, officer or employee.

Award will be made on an individual or overall lowest price basis, whichever is most advantageous to the City of Avondale. The resulting Contract shall be effective from the date it is fully executed by the City and remain in full force and effect for one year thereafter (the “Term”), unless terminated as otherwise provided herein.

Upon the City’s request, the vendor shall provide the applicable product data sheet, mix designation, or manufacturer/plant certification. The City reserves the right to reject material that is visibly damaged, incorrectly supplied, or does not match the material ordered.

When Federal funds are used to fund the purchase of goods and services, 2CFR PART 200 and other applicable federal terms and conditions shall apply.

All pricing blanks must be filled in. Empty or unfilled spaces in the Pricing Table shall be deemed as a NO BID entry for that item. All bids are presumed to include all applicable taxes.
