Public Bid 26-056 Regular School Bus Pupil Transportation

The Town of Wallingford is accepting bid proposals for bus transportation of school children of the Town of Wallingford on a five (5) year contract basis beginning with the 27/28 school year.

Compliance Checklist (Mobile Video Recording System)

The system must provide video coverage of persons entering the door, the driver, front row passengers and all the way to the rear seating area and in-between all seats.

Minimum number of HD cameras required is 6 (six) for full size buses and 2 (two) for vans and mini-buses.

The Awarded vendor must keep the camera system fully operational for the duration of the contract.

The camera system of each bus must be fully tested weekly. All non-working components are to be repaired within 24 hours.

Student Conduct on School Transportation

Bus drivers are required to enforce all rules and regulations adopted by school authorities for the conduct of the pupils who ride the bus.

All bus students will be picked up and dropped off only at officially designated stops.

Bids are due at **2:00 P.M., December 1, 2026**.

The contract is on a five (5) year basis beginning with the 27/28 school year.
