CONCRETE PRIVACY WALLS CLEANING AND PAINTING

The City of Lauderhill is requesting sealed bids for Bid Number 2027-004, Concrete Privacy Walls Cleaning and Painting.

The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain bids from qualified vendors to provide services to pressure wash, prepare and paint ONE SIDE ONLY of existing concrete privacy walls, including the exposed wall face, columns, caps and trim on the designated side. Estimated total length: 12 miles (63,360 linear feet). Typical wall height: 8 feet; maximum column spacing: 20 feet center-to-center (may vary by site). Quantities are estimates and shall be field-verified.

• Pressure wash and clean the designated wall surfaces to remove dirt, mildew, algae, chalking and loose coating. Contain and properly manage wash water and debris.
• Prepare surfaces, remove loose or peeling coatings, allow surfaces to dry, and spot-prime as required by the coating manufacturer. Notify the City of significant concrete deterioration before undertaking repairs not specified in this scope.
• Apply a compatible exterior architectural latex coating system, including primer as needed and TWO finish coats, in accordance with manufacturer instructions. Provide a uniform flat finish without runs, missed areas or overspray.
• Paint specifications: WALL PANELS — Sherwin-Williams SW6365, Exterior Architectural Latex, Flat. COLUMNS AND TRIM — Sherwin-Williams SW7005 Pure White, Flat. Provide a separate additive price for a Sherwin-Williams Super Paint alternate; do not include the alternate in the base bid.
• Protect landscaping, trees, shrubs, grass, irrigation, aboveground and underground utilities, sidewalks, vehicles and adjacent property from overspray, wash water, cleaning products, equipment and other damage. Repair or replace, at no additional cost to the City, any landscaping, irrigation, utility or other property damaged by the Contractor’s operations. Restore affected areas to their pre-work condition or better, subject to City approval.
• Provide all labor, equipment, materials, access equipment, safety measures, cleanup, disposal and demobilization necessary to complete the work. Leave each work area clean and free of debris.

All work shall be completed in a professional and must be completed within **120 calendar days** from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and in accordance with the Scope of Work.

The Contractor shall provide a written warranty covering all labor and application defects. Duration: Minimum of 2 years from the date of final acceptance.

The City of Lauderhill will accept sealed Bids until **2:45 P.M. EST, November 23, 2026**, through IonWave at https://lauderhill.ionwave.net/. Bids submitted after 2:45 P.M. will not be considered.

Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check made payable to the "City of Lauderhill," in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, must be submitted with the bid. Bidder must use the Bid Bond form provided. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Guaranty Bonds in the form of a 100% Construction Performance Bond and a 100% Construction Payment Bond will be required upon award of the bid.

The Public Entity Crimes Affidavit and the Anti-Human Trafficking Affidavit must be completed in full and submitted as part of the proposal.
