SHADY HILLS ROAD SIDEWALK FROM DR. GIELLA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TO BOSLEY DRIVE

The Pasco County Board of County Commissioners invites vendors to submit bids for the construction of a 5-foot-wide sidewalk along the north/east side of Shady Hills Road from north of Dr. Mary Giella Elementary School to Bosley Drive, as per the Contract Documents.

Pay Item Notes

• Obtain approval for the Temporary Traffic Control Plan (TTCP) from the Pasco County Traffic Operations Division prior to commencing construction.
• Clearing and grubbing shall include, but not limited to, mailbox relocation, road edge preparation, asphalt removal, base removal, storm structure, pipe removal, adjustment of landscape beds. Trim or remove any vegetation at intersections to ensure sight visibility per FDOT Design Manual Chapter 212.

General Notes

• Each item listed in summary of estimated quantities is to include all work and materials necessary to complete the item. Payment for contract items will be based on actual field (in-place) measurements of the completed items, ready for service and accepted by Pasco County.
• Any mailbox within the limits of construction is to be taken down and reset in accordance with postal requirements; cost to be included under clearing and grubbing.
• All areas inside and outside the project limits, which are disturbed as a result of the project construction, shall be restored to original or design grade as applicable. Grassed areas shall be sodded, not seeded and mulched at no additional cost, unless otherwise approved by the project engineer.
• Bicycle paths shall be constructed of natural colored fiber-reinforced concrete, finished to a light broom finish, at least 3,000 psi in strength and a minimum of four inches in thickness on a compacted and non-yielding subgrade per LDC 901.7, D.3.a standards.
