Ada County Sheriff's Office Restrooms Phases 2 & 3 2027

Ada County seeks bids for the remodel of certain restrooms and locker rooms, including upgrades to associated materials, fixtures, and lighting within the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, located at 7200 Barrister Drive, Boise, ID 83704 (“Project”), as more specifically described in the Project Manual entitled Bid 27008 Ada County Sheriff’s Office Restrooms Phases 2 & 3 2027 and the plans and specifications set forth therein.

The Board of Ada County Commissioners will receive and publicly open, sealed and clearly marked bids for Bid 27008 Ada County Sheriff's Office Restrooms Phases 2 & 3 2027.

Ada County seeks bids for the remodel of certain restrooms and locker rooms, including upgrades to associated materials, fixtures, and lighting within the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, located at 7200 Barrister Drive, Boise, ID 83704 (“Project”), as more specifically described in the Project Manual entitled Bid 27008 Ada County Sheriff’s Office Restrooms Phases 2 & 3 2027 and the plans and specifications set forth therein.

The Total Bid Amount shall include an Owner’s Contingency Allowance of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars and 00/100 (**$75,000.00**), added to the Base Bid Amount.

A Bidder’s Bid Form, supplied in the Bid Packet, shall be used by bidders to submit bids.

Submission

Sealed bids are to be submitted online to Ada County Procurement at https://adacounty.bonfirehub.com no later than **4:00 p.m. local time, on December 14, 2026**. Bids cannot be accepted if submitted by hard copy, mail, facsimile, or e-mail.

A signed *Bidder’s Bid Form* must be uploaded electronically. Failure to do so will render the bid non-responsive.

Pre-bid meeting

A **mandatory** pre-bid meeting will be held. A bid from a bidder failing to attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting shall be deemed non-responsive.

Scoring

Ada County Procurement will recommend the Construction Contract be awarded to the responsive bidder submitting the lowest bid amount.

Bonds and security

Each bid shall contain one (1) of the following forms of bidder’s security: cash, a cashier check, a certified check, or a bid bond. The security shall be in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the combined amount of the Total Bid Amount.

Before the Construction Contract is signed, the successful bidder must furnish performance and labor and material payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Construction Contract amount.

Contract term

Ada County estimates issuing a Notice to Proceed on or about January 20, 2027. Substantial Completion of the work is required no later than May 20, 2027. Final Completion of the work is required no later than May 27, 2027.
