Metra is seeking bids for Panelized Crossovers, Turnouts, Diamond Crossing Complete and Special Track Components. This Invitation for Bid ("IFB") will be used to determine the lowest responsive and responsible bid for: Panelized Crossovers, Turnouts, Diamond Crossing Complete and Special Track Components.

A Contract will be issued to the successful bidder.

Delivery locations are Glenview, IL and Chicago, IL (Track ENG). F.O.B. Destination: All Transportation/Delivery charges to be included in the price of your bid.

**Electronic bids** will be received through Metra's Procurement portal prior to **2:00 p.m.** local prevailing time, Chicago, IL on **November 11, 2026**. At that time, all such bids will be read aloud via Microsoft Teams.

Basis of Award: If awarded, the Contract will be issued to the bidder who makes the lowest responsive and responsible bid. Metra will award within 90 days from the bid opening date on a Grand Total Basis. Bidders must bid on all items to be considered responsive.

The *Contract Signature Page* (Exhibit 1-M) must be properly signed by a company official, in order for your bid to be considered responsive.

Metra Payment Terms: Net 30.

There is no Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal for this project. This contract is utilizing: FTA Funds.

**Buy America** certificate (Exhibit 1-K) is required if Metra's award total exceeds $150,000.00.

Bids shall be irrevocable for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening thereof by Metra.
