St. Pat's Phase 2 Water Main Improvements

City of Joliet (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: St Pat’s Phase 2 Water Main Improvements, Contract No. 3024-0127.

The Project includes the following Work: The proposed construction consists of the installation of approximately 10,545 linear feet of 4-inch to 12-inch water main and other miscellaneous items of work.

Any contract or contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids are expected to be funded in part by a loan from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Illinois EPA).

Specifications of materials and labor required for the construction work shown on the Drawings are prepared by Baxter & Woodman, Inc., Consulting Engineers.

Submission method

Sealed bids for the construction of the Project will be received electronically through Euna Procurement (Bonfire), until Wednesday, **December 2, 2026, at 10:00 A.M** local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in Conference Room #1 City Hall, 150 W Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60432.

Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be downloaded from Euna Procurement (Bonfire) on our website at found at https://joliet.bonfirehub.com. All vendors will need to self-register in the Euna Procurement (Bonfire) portal for the City of Joliet.

Requirements

• A **mandatory** pre-bid conference for the Project will be held. Proposals will not be accepted from Bidders who do not attend the conference.
• Bidder must be prequalified to complete work for the City of Joliet. Current proof of prequalification must be provided with the Bid.
• Required Bid security must be submitted with the Bid.
• All Bidders must comply with the City of Joliet’s policy regarding the increased use of disadvantaged businesses. The advertisement must run one (1) day at least sixteen (16) days prior to bid opening. Non-compliance will disqualify your bid.
• This Bid will remain subject to acceptance for 120 days after the Bid opening.
• The estimated Notice to Proceed date is May 3rd, 2027.
