FURNISH AND INSTALL FENCING AS NEEDED (CITYWIDE)

The City of Kenner (also referenced as “Kenner” and “Owner”) will receive sealed bids for:

FURNISH AND INSTALL FENCING AS NEEDED (CITYWIDE)

The undersigned bidder hereby declares and represents that she/he [...] proposes to provide all labor, materials, tools, appliances and facilities as required to perform, in a workmanlike manner, all work and services for the construction and completion of the referenced project, all in strict accordance with the Bidding Documents.

Unit price items

• 48” to 144” high chain link fence, including vinyl coated fabric with galvanized frame work options
• Single and double swing gates with post and hardware
• Wood fence, 6ft, 7ft and 8ft No. 1 cedar with line posts and hardware
• Cedar single, double, slide and roller gates with hardware
• 2” x 11 gage tubing including hardware
• Standard masonry brick columns and mortar cement mix
• 8ft high vinyl fencing
• Remove and haul away existing chain link fence, wooden fence, ornamental iron fencing and brick columns, including post (where required, any height)
• 3 inch steel posts
• All-terrain man lift
• Minimum labor charge for footages under 25ft and under 50ft

All quantities are estimated. The contractor will be paid upon actual quantities as verified by Owner.

Submission

Bidders may obtain copies of the bid documents by visiting the City of Kenner’s website at www.kenner.la.us. Bidders may also obtain copies of the bid documents and submit bids electronically by visiting www.centralauctionhouse.com. Sealed bids will be received until **December 2, 2026 at 9:45am CST**, by the City of Kenner in the Finance Department.

All interested parties are invited to attend the Bid Opening on the same day at 10:00 a.m. in the City of Kenner, Building D Auditorium, 1610 Rev. Richard Wilson Drive, Kenner, Louisiana, at which time the bids will be publicly read.

Questions

Bidders should email all questions to FinContracts@kenner.la.us no later than FIVE (5) working days prior to bid opening. Only answers furnished by formal written Addenda will be binding.

Award

The City of Kenner reserves the right to award contracts or place orders with the lowest responsive bidder, on a lump sum or individual item basis or such combination as shall in its judgment be in the best interest of the city. Awards will be based on compliance with the specifications and the delivery and/or completion date.

Bid security

If Bidder’s Bid is **$250,000.00** or more, Bidder must submit Bid Security in the form of bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check in the amount of 5% of the contract price in favor of the City of Kenner. If submitting Bid electronically, a bid bond is the only acceptable form of bid security.

Bidder will display its license number on the bid envelope. All bids submitted shall remain binding and may not be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled closing date for receiving bids.
