Air Handling Unit and Makeup Air Unit Replacements - AMIL & CALT

Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) is soliciting proposals from qualified Contractors to replace rooftop air handling units at the Arundel Mills Campus and a Makeup Air Unit at the Center for Applied Learning and Technology located on the Arnold Campus. The Work includes, but is not limited to, associated VAV repairs and modifications, integration with the existing Building Automation System (BAS), integration with the Fire Alarm System, testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB), required permits, and all related labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the Project.

Base Bid

- Remove RTU-4 and replace in-kind, modify fourth floor VAV terminals to be compatible with and operable from the existing BAS Tridium system.

Alternates (refer to pricing sheet for designations)

• Remove RTU-1 and replace in-kind, modify lower level and first floor VAV terminals to be compatible with and operable from the existing BAS Tridium system.
• Add reheat coils to existing VAVs without heating. Estimated quantity: Lower Level: 0; First Floor: 4; Second Floor: 5; Third Floor: 5; Fourth Floor: 0.
• In lieu of repairing VAVs, replace existing VAVs with new units with reheat coils. Estimated quantity: Lower Level: 4; First Floor: 27; Second Floor: 0; Third Floor: 0; Fourth Floor: 19.

PROVIDE TWO YEAR WARRANTY FOR ALL WORK (MATERIALS, LABOR, AND EQUIPMENT) FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS COMMENCING WITH THE DATE OF ACCEPTANCE OF ALL WORK BY THE OWNER UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS.

OBTAIN ALL LICENSES AND PERMITS REQUIRED BY STATE AND LOCAL JURISDICTIONAL AUTHORITIES FOR PERFORMANCE OF WORK.
