The vehicle will be sold, if at all, to the responsive bidder offering the highest price for the vehicle described in this notice and on the auction site listing.
To schedule a viewing of the vehicle, please contact Deputy Doucet or Chief Hehir at 508-389-2300 (press 4 for the Chief's office). The pickup location of the vehicle is the Westborough Fire Department, 42 Milk Street, Westborough, MA 01569.
The item will be listed on Municibid.com as item number 86739537, beginning on 11/04/2026 at 11:30 A.M. and ending at 9:00 A.M. on 11/23/2026. **Bids may NOT be placed directly with the Town but must be processed through the auction website.**
The Town of Westborough reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to dispose of the vehicle through a negotiated sale, provided that the negotiated sale price is higher than the highest bid received from a responsive bidder.
Upon winning the auction, the winning bidder shall be **required** to submit a signed non-collusion form to the Town of Westborough prior receipt of the vehicle.
At the time of pickup, the successful bidder must present valid identification and submit **payment in full** in the form of a certified bank check/money order made payable to the "Town of Westborough." Personal checks will not be accepted. A bill of sale and the item will be released only after payment has been received and processed. Buyer will pick up at the Westborough Fire Department, 42 Milk Street, Westborough, MA 01581 within ten (10) business days of end of auction. Buyer to pay sales tax on registration.
