Currently, PMLP anticipates installing the polyphase meters with its own staff.
PMLP will coordinate with customers to address pre-existing conditions that arise in the meter exchange process, which are not attributable to the Contractor. Where the damage is caused by the Contractor or its representatives' negligence, PMLP will coordinate the repair, and the Contractor shall reimburse PMLP for the full cost of the repair. The Contractor shall promptly report any such damage to PMLP.
Bids will be received at the Peabody Municipal Light Plant office until **11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 30, 2026**, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Proposals must be accompanied by a complete *Bid Form*.
Three hard copies and two electronic copies on separate USB Flash Drives of all bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope properly marked with the Title of the bid and mailed/delivered to: Peabody Municipal Light Plant, 201 Warren Street Extension, Peabody, MA 01960, ATTENTION: Joseph Anastasi, General Manager.
Each firm shall submit with their proposal a bid bond or a certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the lump sum for project bid prices or five percent (5%) of the total annual cost for per unit bid prices.
The Successful Firm is required to provide a performance bond equal to the total bid price.

Immediately following the Pre-Bid Meeting there will be an opportunity to conduct Site Inspections, accompanied by PMLP staff.
