ON-CALL DEMOLITION SERVICES

The City of Quincy, acting through the Department of Public Buildings, is soliciting bids for On-Call Demolition Services. The City aims to partner with a qualified and responsible company/companies who provide demolition services.

Demolition services are being bid under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 149. Projects that arise shall be negotiated as needed and will be Prevailing Wage Projects.

The scope of work includes but is not limited to, providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision and all other things necessary for demolition of Municipal buildings or projects as directed by the Commissioner of the Department of Public Buildings.

Quotes shall be obtained from the awarded contractor/contractors as projects arise and shall be in accordance as set forth in the specifications.

Bids must state exceptions, if any, and the estimated delivery date. Bids must be in a sealed envelope. The outside of the sealed envelope is to be clearly marked "On-Call Demolition" with time/date of bid call.

Bids will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Department; City Hall; 1305 Hancock Street; Quincy, MA 02169, until **Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.** Bids will be publicly opened and read. Late Bids delivered by mail or in person will be rejected.

Firm bid prices will be given first consideration.

Detailed specifications are available on-line at the City of Quincy's website, www.quincyma.gov and available at the Office of the Purchasing Department, Quincy City Hall, 1305 Hancock Street, Quincy, Massachusetts, 02169, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The City of Quincy reserves the right to withdraw the Bid; to reject any and all bids; and to accept any bids deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Quincy. Non-responsive and/or unbalanced bids may be rejected.
