Notice to Bidders: NJ Route 18 Sewer Cleaning and Lining Project - Phase I

Sealed proposals will be received by the Township of East Brunswick for the "NJ ROUTE 18 SEWER CLEANING AND LINING PROJECT - PHASE ONE" and publicly opened and read aloud by the Municipal Clerk of the Township at 1 Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick, New Jersey 08816, First Floor, Large Conference Room on **December 2nd, 2026, at 11:00 AM** prevailing time.

The project generally consists of cleaning, CCTV and lining approximately 4,980 linear feet (LF) of gravity sanitary sewer pipes ranging in size from 8-inch to 24-inch diameter using the Ultraviolet (UV) CIPP method, in accordance with the Contract Documents. The contracting agency will be the Township of East Brunswick.

The project generally consists of cleaning, CCTV and lining approximately 4,980 linear feet (LF) of gravity sanitary sewer pipes ranging in size from 8-inch to 24-inch diameter using the Ultraviolet (UV) CIPP method, in accordance with the Contract Documents. The sewers are located within and adjacent to NJ Route 18 in the Township of East Brunswick. All work is to be performed in accordance with NJDOT Highway Occupancy Permit No. LSC-18-C-64728-2026 which has been issued for the project and is included in an Appendix to the contract documents. The NJDOT permit requires night work only, Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM., excluding holidays.

NO BIDS MAY BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY.

Bids shall be delivered in sealed envelopes and addressed to the Municipal Clerk, 1 Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick, New Jersey 08816 clearly marked on the outside with the contract name and number, bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside. Bids may be mailed to the above address. Any bid received after the date and time stated above will be returned, unopened, to the bidder.

All bids must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Township.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or cash in the amount of not less than ten (10%) percent of the Bid, but not more than **$20,000.00** [...]. A bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the Bid, but not more than **$20,000.00**, may be substituted for certified check or cash.

The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a surety company bond in the full amount of Contract price [...].

No Bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof.

The Township reserves the right to reject any, or all Bids if in its opinion it is in the best interest to do so and to award the Contract for any and/or all items.
