Pre-Solicitation - Bid# 2700028 - Truck, BEV Utility - DSNY

The intent of this contract is to procure BEV utility trucks with various body options for the City of New York.

Items

• Item 1: BEV utility truck, 20 each, as per DSNY specification, E.S. 26-28EB, dated September 21, 2026.
• Item 2: Package "A" - Rack Body, 1 lot, as per DSNY specification, E.S. 26-28EB, Section 30.0.
• Item 3: Package "B" - Solid Body Sides, 1 lot, as per DSNY specification, E.S. 26-28EB, Section 31.0.
• Item 4: Package "C" - Tailgate Double Barn Door, 1 lot, as per DSNY specification, E.S. 26-28EB, Section 32.0.
• Item 5: Package "D" - Electric Over Hydraulic Liftgate, 1 lot, as per DSNY specification, E.S. 26-28EB, Section 33.0.
• Item 6: Package "E" - Electric Over Hydraulic Liftgate with Wheel Stop, 1 lot, as per DSNY specification, E.S. 26-28EB, Section 34.0.

Delivery charges are to be included in bid price. Items procured via this contract shall be delivered freight on board (FOB) destination.

Vehicles supplied shall meet or exceed all applicable federal, state and local emission standards. Vehicle supplied shall conform to all applicable federal, state and local laws and/or regulations for vehicles in its class.

In accordance with Section 6-141 of the Administrative Code of the City of New York bidder(s) awarded a contract pursuant to this bid shall install side guards on all vehicles it provides pursuant to this bid.

Vehicles/equipment may be ordered with additional original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and/or non-OEM options.

**Basis for award:** The award for this solicitation will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder meeting or exceeding requirements of this solicitation.

This is a class solicitation. Bidders must bid on all items in the class unless otherwise instructed.

**Required:** Each bidder must indicate the manner in which the bid specification(s) will be met by completely and competently filling out the *Bidders Certificate* attached to or found within the bid specification(s) and submitting it with the bid proposal.

Bids will be accepted only from manufacturers or their authorized distributors who have been actively engaged in the sale or manufacture of vehicles and/or equipment for a minimum of five (5) years.

Vendors intending to do business with the City of New York should complete an online Procurement and Sourcing Solutions Portal (PASSPort) disclosure filing to be considered for an award.

**Period of contract:** From March 1, 2027 to February 28, 2032.
