Sports Safety Netting - Riverside High School

The School District of Greenville County (District) invites interested firms to submit a bid response to provide Sports Safety Netting - Riverside High School for Greenville County Schools in accordance with the Specifications and Terms and Conditions of this solicitation. District staff will coordinate with awarded vendor after issuance of award.

The Invitation for Bid solicitation method shall be used to select one or multiple firms that meets the requirements of the solicitation.

Pricing shall include any necessary demo, removal, and disposal of existing fencing, netting, poles, etc. Removal and disposal of all debris generated is by Contractor. Contractor responsible for backfill and dressing up of disturbed soil to return to original condition. Contractor responsible for any concrete core drilling, or concrete repair due to pole placement as necessary. Contractor may utilize existing fencing infrastructure as deemed necessary.

Provide one (1) 30' tall backstop netting system to encompass area indicated below in blue. Netting to be tension in-line system, and include all required poles, foundations, clips, cables, etc. to provide turnkey solution. Netting shall meet the following requirements:

• Replace approximately 30 linear feet of existing backstop fencing behind home plate with netting system.
• Can utilize existing backstop stem wall as foundations for new poles
• Extend netting system down each baseline and integrate into existing fencing as required
• Approximately 160' down the first base line
• Approximately 70' down the third baseline
• Netting to be #36 gauge twisted, knotted black nylon ball safety system net, 1-3/4" mesh size, UV resistant with sewn rope borders
• Netting to be tensioned and attached to top cable via spring clips
• Foundations, sleeves, pole quantity, size, and placement to be determined by Contractor.
• Stamped engineered drawings required

Completion Schedule & Liquidated Damages:

• Anticipated Start Date 01-December-2026. Work may begin upon issuance of Purchase Order.
• Netting system to be installed and substantially complete no later than 31-January-2027.
• Liquidated Damages: Time is of the essence for this project. If the Contractor fails to achieve substantial completion on or before January 31, 2027, the Contractor shall pay the District Two-Hundred-Fifty Dollars (**$250.00**) per calendar day as liquidated damages for each day past the substantial completion date until the work is substantially complete.

Warranty: Each bidder must detail the warranty provided in its bid response. All equipment must provide a factory warranty.

Bidders shall submit their bid through the Procurement Portal no later than **10:00 am on Friday, November 13, 2026**. Faxed or emailed bids shall not be accepted.

An award resulting from this solicitation will be for one (1) year from the date of award.

Bid Security: Five-Percent (5%) Bid Security is **required** for this solicitation. Bid Security (check OR Bond) must be received in the Procurement Department prior to the Bid Due Date and Time as specified in this solicitation to be deemed a responsive bid.

Performance and Payments Bonds are **required** for this solicitation, and must be submitted either in-person, by U.S. Mail to the address above, or uploaded with the bid response through Open Gov, prior to issuance of a Purchase Order.

Prices stated on the Bid Form shall remain in effect for a minimum of sixty (60) calendar days from the due date.
