This project includes designing and providing construction administration (CA) services for the expansion and reconfiguration of an existing 5,000-square-foot warehouse space. The renovation will expand the current training room to accommodate up to 100 people and will include the addition of two dedicated offices, a small classroom for 25 people, and three hoteling offices.
The scope of work covers new flooring throughout (including an access floor system), acoustic treatments for walls and ceiling, updated wall finishes, coordination of new audio-visual equipment and controls, and interior signage; building envelope/structural modifications include complete removal of one existing wall, replacement of the window systems at two walls, and removal of brick veneer/parging with installation of metal panel cladding.
The mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scope includes demolishing the existing HVAC system and ductwork and installing a new HVAC system with updated ductwork and grilles, new dimmable LED lighting, power provisions for desks, and plumbing for restrooms.
