High Performance Fireworks Entertainment

The City of Prescott, Arizona is soliciting proposals from qualified, experienced, and properly licensed fireworks production companies to provide a professional, high-quality fireworks display for the City's 4th of July Freedom Fest, Sunday, July 4, 2027, at Pioneer Park.

The City of Prescott is seeking a highly qualified production company/professional firm to produce a spectacular Annual 4th of July Firework Display for the community for the years of 2027-2031. The selected firm will be responsible for designing, setting up, and executing the fireworks display.

The selected contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, permits, licenses, insurance, personnel, supervision, and other services necessary to successfully produce and execute the fireworks show.

Fireworks Production

The proposal shall include:

• Development of a complete fireworks show design and production plan.
• Professional choreography and sequencing of the display.
• A high-quality selection of fireworks appropriate for a municipal community event.
• Multiple firing positions or launch locations where appropriate and approved.
• Professionally trained and licensed pyrotechnicians.
• Electronic firing and computerized show control systems.
• Coordination of fireworks timing with music, if applicable.
• Transportation and secure storage of fireworks.
• Setup, firing, monitoring, and dismantling of the display.
• Scheduled pre-show inspection by the Fire Marshall.
• Site restoration, removal of all fireworks-related debris and unexploded shells, and filling all holes that were utilized for firing of the displays.
• Coordination with City staff, fire officials, law enforcement, and other agencies as required to ensure site restrictions are adhered to.
• All required permits and regulatory approvals.

Optional Drone Light Show

The City is interested in the possibility of adding a 10–12 minute professional drone light show to the fireworks production. The drone show shall be proposed as a separate optional item and shall include all costs associated with providing the service.

The City may elect to award the fireworks show without the drone show, the drone show as an additional service, or both services; subject to available funding and contract terms.

Proposals shall be submitted electronically through the City’s OpenGov Procurement portal and must conform to this request. **Proposals are due Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 2:00 pm (Arizona time)**. The City will not accept submittals delivered by mail, courier, in person, facsimile, or at any other City location.

The Proposals shall be limited to no more than ten (10) pages (excluding front and back cover pages, cover letter, table of contents, and section dividers).

The initial term of the contract shall be for a period of one (1) year, starting February 1, 2027. The contract may be extended for an additional one (1) year period up to a total of four (4) additional years, with the mutual consent of the City of Prescott and Contractor/Professional/Supplier.
