Fiber Optic Cable, Parts & Installation - Annual

Lee County, Florida, is requesting sealed bids from qualified individuals and firms for the attached solicitation.

The Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract with a pool of Contractors to perform the purchase and installation of fiber optic cable, conduits, pullboxes, and associated parts on as needed basis.

Bids will be publicly opened at the Lee County Procurement Management Division, 2115 Second Street, 1st Floor, Fort Myers, FL 33901, and read aloud for the purpose of selecting a vendor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the solicitation documents, including the technical specifications and/or scope of work.

Contractor(s) are not required to bid all line items; however, Contractor(s) are asked to bid all lines applicable to their company for services they can provide under this contract. Where the Contractor cannot provide for a commodity or service it is requested the Contractor indicate No Bid on the line item tab.

Bids must be submitted electronically through the County’s e-Procurement Portal (Ion Wave) prior to the date and time specified. Paper or hand-delivered submissions will not be accepted.

Bidders shall download the Bid Invitation and complete all required sections, including Attributes, Bid Lines (if applicable), Supplier Information, and Required Forms.

The Contractor is requested to provide a *Letter of Bondability* from their Surety Company showing their bonding capacity. Any issuer of a Letter of Bondability must be licensed to transact a fidelity and surety business in the State of Florida, with an A.M. Best rating of B or better.

Since this is an annual project, you shall return the requested 3 reference survey forms with your submittal.

The County will only accept bids submitted on bid forms provided by the County. Bids submitted on other forms, other than those provided by the County, will be deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award.
