2026036-BID3289 ROADS AND BRIDGES ADMINISTRATION BUILDING RENOVATION

The Columbia County Roads and Bridges Department currently occupies the existing building, which is undergoing renovation to improve the functionality and condition of the facility. The project includes renovations to existing office, support, and common areas, along with associated modifications to building systems to accommodate the new layout. Work will include selective demolition, new finishes, and modifications to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as required to support the renovated spaces.

Work will include selective demolition, new finishes, and modifications to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as required to support the renovated spaces.

Bids for the complete work in one general contract shall be made on the electronic forms provided.

Electronic bids will be received by the Columbia County Board of Commissioners, Procurement Department, until **November 19th, 2026, at 12:00 PM E.T.** Public opening will be held virtually on the same day via WebEx at https://ccgagov.webex.com/meet/gosteen at 2:00 PM E.T.

Bids are to be submitted **electronically** at https://columbiacountyga.bonfirehub.com. **Faxed bids will not be accepted.**

No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.

All Bidders must have a State of Georgia General Contractor's License and a Columbia County business license.

All proposals shall be accompanied by a **Bid Bond** drawn in favor of Columbia County, Georgia, in the amount of at least **five percent (5%)** of the lump sum bid for the complete work. Each bond shall be equal to **one hundred percent (100%)** of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to Columbia County, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract. Letters of credit will not be accepted.
