Invitation to Bid - Wall Replacement Coffee Middle School (CMS)

Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for Project as described in this Document according to the Instructions to Bidders.

**Project Identification:** Wall Replacement Coffee Middle School.

**Project Location:** Coffee Middle School: 901 Connector 206 N., Douglas, GA 31533.

**Owner:** Coffee County Schools, 271 Trojan Way. Douglas, GA 31533.

**Construction Contract:** Bids will be received for the following Work:

- General Contract (all trades).

Project consists of removing masonry wall, hollow metal frames, aluminum windows, flooring, ceiling tile, ceiling grid, install new masonry wall, hollow metal doors and frames, hardware install new ceiling tile, ceiling grid, new flooring, and removing debris from site.

Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Start May 27, 2027 and project completed July 26, 2027.

**Bid submittal:** Owner will receive **sealed bids** until the bid time and date at the location indicated below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner. Bid Date: December 8, 2026. Bid Time: 2:00 p.m. local time. Location: Coffee County Schools, 211 Gaskin Avenue S. Douglas, GA 31533. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.

**Bid security** shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.

**Mandatory** prebid conference for all bidders. Prospective bidders are required to attend.

Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
