BID, 27-22,Drainage Improvements at Grove Pointe Subdivision

The intent of this invitation is to obtain competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors for the removal of existing storm drain pipe and installation of new storm drain pipe in three locations identified in the Grove Pointe Subdivision located in Locust Grove, Georgia. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this bid. Bids will only be considered by those bidders and subcontractors currently pre-qualified with the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Replace existing pipe at the 3 locations identified below with the following:

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this bid.

Submission

Bids may be submitted by mail, common carrier or delivered in person. Electronic bids are to be submitted through the County's eProcurement Portal at (https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/henryga). Emailed or faxed bids will not be considered.

The bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope/parcel on or before the date and time stated in this document and is to be mailed or delivered to: Henry County Purchasing Department, 140 Henry Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253, Bid #27-22, Drainage Improvements at Grove Pointe Subdivision.

If the bid is submitted by mail, common carrier or delivered in person, the following items are to be included:

• One (1) unbound clearly marked "Original," of the bid documents,
• One (1) bound copy identical to the original bid documents, and
• One (1) digital version in PDF format on a USB flash drive identical to the original bid documents.

Evaluation

The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder(s), if awarded. Henry County may elect to waive any technicalities.

This project has a five (5) percent subcontracting benchmark, which means the Bidder must utilize, or make a good faith effort to utilize, certified M/WBE's.

Contract term

The time period of the agreement, if any is formed from this bid, will be determined after the review and evaluation of the Time Line Schedules submitted by the successful Consultant.
