Sealed bids will be accepted by the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County Finance Department, Purchasing Division, 375 Satula Avenue, Athens, GA 30601, until **11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2026**, for BID #27017, J.G Beacham Water Treatment Plant Miscellaneous Coatings, according to plans and specifications. All bids will be opened in public and read aloud immediately following the specified closing time.

The Project consists of repair and rehabilitation of miscellaneous surfaces at the J.G. Beacham Water Treatment Plant, related site work, protection, and appurtenances.

The estimated range of this project is between **$400,000 and $800,000**.

The Drawings cover coating work at the following areas of the plant:

• High Service Delivery Building
• Main Electrical Building
• North Oconee Electrical Building
• Sedimentation Building
• South Sedimentation Basin
• Silos
• Tank 1
• Tank 2
• UV Building
• Vault
• North Oconee Pump Station 1
• North Oconee Pump Station 2
• Operations Building
• Pre-chemical Building
• Post-chemical Building

There are 4 South Sedimentation Basins that are grouped into two pairs. The equipment needs to be painted on both pairs. There are two silos. The railings on both need to be painted.

**Submission method:** Sealed bids. One (1) marked original of the complete signed bid, one (1) marked COPY of the complete signed bid, and two (2) USB Flash Drives with all required Bid Documents combined into one single PDF file are to be delivered to the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Finance Department, Purchasing Division, 375 Satula Avenue, Athens, GA. 30601.

Hand-delivered copies may be delivered only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays observed by the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County.

The Bidder shall affix, to the outside of its bid envelope, its Georgia General Contractor or Utility Contractor License Number.

**BONDING REQUIREMENTS:** An original Bid Bond for **5 percent** of the total bid must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of **100 percent** of the contract price will be required if contract is awarded.
