TSPLOST 5 and 2026 LMIG - Phase 1

McIntosh County is soliciting proposals to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and appurtenances necessary to complete patching, leveling, resurfacing, and striping for approximately ± 4.27 (LM) of county-maintained roadways.

The work includes patching, leveling and resurfacing Belle Hammock Road from Pine Harbor Road to Anchor Road; patching, OGI leveling, and resurfacing Pine Harbor Road from the Shellman Bluff Road intersection to Belle Hammock Road; and base preparation and paving of Country Woods Road from SR 99 extending approximately 1,000 feet.

Submission

Sealed bids will be received at 1200 North Way, Darien, GA 31305 up to **10AM EST, Thursday, December 3, 2026**, at which time they will be opened and publicly read. Bids must be typed or printed in ink. Bids submitted as a result of this invitation must include the "Bidders Response Schedule" and be returned in a sealed envelope, "SEALED BID" with the applicable "BID NUMBER" on the outside.

Bonds

Each Proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond for an amount equal to at least **five percent (5%)** of the amount bid. A cashiers or certified check may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond. The successful Bidder, if awarded this contract, will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of **one hundred percent (100%)** of the contract amount.

Award

The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, if awarded, but the Owner has the authority to reject any bid at its discretion.

Contract term

Contract time shall consist of Ninety (90) consecutive calendar days for the completion of work, to be computed from the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Payment

The successful Bidder will receive monthly payments within 30 days after receipt and approval by the Owner's Representative of a valid invoice for those services rendered.

Site examination

The Bidder shall notify the Owner of the date and time he proposes to examine the location of the work.
