The Project would address aging building systems and facility deficiencies while bringing O-House into alignment with current code, accessibility, life safety, and operational standards. Planned improvements include increasing the number of rooms compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act; replacing elevator equipment to provide a stretcher-compliant cab; installing stairwell pressurization systems, an emergency generator, and a fire command center; and modernizing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure.
