A **mandatory** pre-bid meeting/site visit will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 9:00 am central time, at Davis Lodge, 25449 Davis Lodge Road, Hudson, Illinois 61748. Attending the pre-bid meeting/site visit is a requirement to submit a response to this solicitation.
Bid must be accompanied by a Bid guaranty which shall not be less than **ten percent (10%)** of the amount of the Bid. Bid guaranty may be a cashier's check, money order, certified bank check, or a surety bond. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount equal to **100%** of the contract price, within ten (10) business days after the bid award.
Contractors shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12) including Public Act 100-1177 effective June 1, 2019.
Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the bid opening date.
The City may award the Base Bid, any individual Alternate, any combination of Alternates, or no Alternates at all.
