BIDDER hereby agrees to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and services required to erect and complete the facility in strict accordance with the Contract Documents for the following price:
Include prices for all bid Alternates as described in Section 012300, "Alternates", of this manual.
On-site Work shall begin on **June 1, 2027**, and the entire Work shall be substantially complete on or before **July 16, 2027**.
Submission method
Sealed bids shall be deposited in the named-box receptacle located on the first floor lobby, 45 W. Gude Drive, Rockville, Maryland 20850. Bids will be publicly opened via phone conference. Please call 724-418-4509 PIN: 816 353 523 at date/time of the bid opening.
Bids are to be submitted in duplicate in the form of one original and one copy.
Contract award shall be based upon best value and price, and in the best interest of the Board of Education of Montgomery County, Maryland. Value will be based on the data provided by the bidder.
Bonds
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond on an AIA Document A-310 Bid Bond from a surety company authorized to transact surety business in the State of Maryland and have at least an A Minus rating with A. M. Best, properly executed in favor of the Owner for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the largest possible total of bids submitted.
A Performance Bond in the amount of One Hundred percent (100%) of his Contract Price and a Payment Bond in the amount of One Hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price shall be submitted on AIA Document A312.
**Site visits are mandatory.** Richard Montgomery High School, November 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by Walt Whitman High School, November 5, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.
No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
