REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS #9923.1 ADMINISTRATIVE FACILITIES PLANNING, SPACE PROGRAMMING, AND POTENTIAL CONSOLIDATION STUDY

The intended outcome of this study is to provide MCPS with clearly documented understanding of:

• How MCPS administrative facilities are currently being utilized
• How administrative employees currently work and how they anticipate working in the future
• The space needs of MCPS administrative divisions and departments
• Appropriate planning assumptions for personal workspace, collaboration, support, and shared administrative functions
• Division and Departmental adjacency and operational requirements
• The overall space requirements for MCPS administrative functions
• Potential opportunities and implications associated with administrative facility consolidation
• The operational and planning-level cost implications of alternative approaches
• Recommendations and decision points that can be used by MCPS to determine whether and how to proceed with future planning phases.
