Project #7253 201 Rivermoor Street - Pre-Qualified IFB

The City of Boston acting by its Public Facilities Commission, through its Director of the Public Facilities Department (PFD), 26 Court St Boston, MA 02108 hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from those prequalified contractors for the project: 201 Rivermoor Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132

This project has prequalified firms that submitted Statements of Qualifications per the prior advertisement. This project is not seeking new bidders in the categories listed below. A list of prequalified contractors will be available in the bid documents and upon request at bid.info@boston.gov. The estimated construction cost for this project is **$10,639,022**.

The scope of work includes installation of high-density (HD) shelving within Space 146, along with all related improvements necessary to accommodate the new system. The work will also include the provision and installation of a loading dock lift, including any associated improvements required to support its operation. In addition, project related signage will be installed as needed to address wayfinding and code compliance requirements. The scope further includes the replacement of a portion of the roof area above Room 146, including all associated demolition, repairs, and integration with the existing roofing system and is further detailed in the plans and specifications available electronically only on or about November 02, 2026 upon request submitted to bid.info@boston.gov.

**Prequalified general bid:** General Building Construction

Filed Sub-bids and General Bids must be accompanied by a **5% bid bond deposit** of the amount bid, DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility (approved in the applicable trade/category of work noted below), and DCAMM Update Statement. All interested bidders are directed to the bid specifications and plans for full information on any and all requirements applicable to this bid.

Prequalified firms must submit bids with the Awarding Authority at the Bid Box, 26 Court St Boston, MA 02108 before **12:00 PM** on **December 02, 2026** for filed sub-bids and before **12:00 PM** on **December 16, 2026** for General bids at which time and place respective bids will be opened forthwith and read aloud in person and virtually.

A performance bond and labor and materials payment bond satisfactory to the Awarding Authority in the sum of **100%** of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder.
