Renovate Kitchen Food Service Building, Moberly Correctional Center

The State of Missouri, Office of Administration, Division of Facilities Management, Design and Construction, is seeking bids for the Renovate Kitchen Food Service Building project at Moberly Correctional Center, Moberly, Missouri. Project No.: C2419-01.

The project includes removing the kitchen cooking kettles and dish cleaning process off of the steam system, removing equipment no longer needed, and providing a more up-to-date and efficient kettle system. Also included in this renovation is providing replacement quarry tile flooring that is slip-resistant to improve the safety of staff and inmates, and stainless steel wall protection at key "wet" locations to protect the wall and provide a more sanitary kitchen environment. Additionally, some existing kitchen equipment ovens will be related into main kitchen under kitchen hoods. Some exterior and interior doors will be replaced in kind to improve function, safety, and heat-loss-gain.

MBE/WBE/SDVE/HDVE Goals: MBE 0%, WBE 0%, and SDVE 3% or HDVE 3%. Only MBE/WBE firms certified by the State of Missouri Office of Equal Opportunity as of the date of bid opening, or SDVE(s)/HDVE(s) meeting the requirements of Section 34.069, RSMo, Section 34.074, RSMo and 1 CSR 30-5.010, can be used to satisfy the MBE/WBE/SDVE/HDVE participation goals for this project.

The State reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 20 working days subsequent to the specified bid opening time. The contractor shall pay not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which the work is performed, as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and as set out in the detailed plans and specifications.
