Construction of the Evans-Riceville Road Slide Repair

Cascade County Public Works received sealed bids for the Construction of Evans-Riceville Road Repair. Notice for the bid solicitation was published in the Great Falls Tribune on Sunday, October 11, 2026 and Sunday, October 18, 2026. The bid advertisement was also made available on the Cascade County website. Bid documents were available through the Cascade County Public Works Department.

Mr. Payne announced that the purpose of the meeting was to publicly open and record sealed bids received for the project. [...] He noted that the project is on a tight schedule and that work must progress with the goal of completing the initial repairs before winter weather sets in. He also emphasized that all parties are aware of the 30-day timeframe for completing the initial repair work.

Sealed bids were originally to be submitted no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. However, following issuance of addendum 1, the bid opening was postponed, and the deadline for submitting sealed bids was extended to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

• Bid bond (10%)
• *Contractor Verification of Nondiscrimination Firearm Facilities/Trade Associations Form*
• Receipt of Addendum 1

Mr. Payne stated that no further review was necessary at this time and that he would recommend awarding the project to the lowest responsive bidder at the special Commission meeting scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026.

Cascade County reserves the right to review, evaluate, accept, or reject any or all bids received in accordance with the project specifications, bid requirements, and applicable procurement procedures.
