Separate sealed bids for the construction of City of Billings Rimrock Road Street and Utility Improvements - W.O. 25-36 (62nd Street West to 54th Street West) and W.O. 26-07 (54th Street West to Clearview Drive) will be received by the Billings City Clerk, 316 N. 26th Street, Billings, MT 59101.

The project consists of a full reconstruction of Rimrock Road to a three-lane urban arterial standard with a new storm drain trunk main system under the roadway.

The project consists of a full reconstruction of Rimrock Road to a three-lane urban arterial standard with a new storm drain trunk main system under the roadway. Surface improvements include curb and gutter, asphalt paving, sidewalk, multi-use trail, intermittent raised center median, auxiliary turn lanes, traffic signal modifications, signing and striping, landscaping, and street lighting.

There is a bid alternate for a median-protected rectangular rapid flash beacon (RRFB) Safe Routes to School crosswalk on Rimrock Road between 46th Street West and Westfield Drive. The bid alternate also includes curb and gutter, sidewalk, and drive approach improvements along the west side of 46th Street West.

Separate sealed bids [...] will be received by the Billings City Clerk, 316 N. 26th Street, Billings, MT 59101, P.O. Box 1178, Billings, MT 59103 [...] until **2:00 PM local time on Tuesday, December 15, 2026**, and then publicly opened and read aloud. The bid opening will be via Facebook Live on the City’s Facebook page: Billings MT City Government.

Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond payable to the “City of Billings, MT” in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. Bids submitted via email shall have the bid bond scanned and included with the bid. Bids submitted via mail or hand delivered shall have any of the bid securities included.

CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI).
