Sealed Bid Contract No. 26-012

Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure all necessary labor, supervision, miscellaneous materials, tools, and equipment for the rebuild of approximately 4.05 miles of 115kV transmission line (TL) TL1266 from Stanton North substation to Structure 79, performance bonds and all other requirements as specified in these Contract Documents.

Sealed bids for Contract No. 26-012, 115kV TRANSMISSION LINE 1266 REBUILD STANTON NORTH SUBSTATION TO DEAD-END STRUCTURE 79 will be received in the office of Robert J. Hotovy, Procurement Manager, at the Nebraska Public Power District's (DISTRICT) General Office, 1414 - 15th Street, Columbus, Nebraska 68601-5226.

Submission

Sealed bids will be received until **2:00 p.m., CST, December 2, 2026**. All bids will be opened in the DISTRICT'S General Office immediately following 2:00 p.m., CST. All bids submitted to the DISTRICT must be sealed, addressed to, and deposited with the Procurement Department on or before the day and hour set for opening of bids. Said bids must be marked "Sealed Bid" and shall be identified on the envelope with the name of Bidder and title of the work and Contract Number. The DISTRICT will not accept bids which are not sealed, such as oral, telegraphic, telephonic, electronic (such as e-mail), or facsimile proposals received on a facsimile machine by the DISTRICT.

The Bidder must submit the following pages in a hard copy form with original signatures:

• Page C-1 Proposal page with an original signature
• Page C-5 - Price Quotation Table showing the Total Estimated Base Bid Price
• Bid Security – Reference Section B, paragraph G.

Award and bid security

The DISTRICT will award the Contract to the responsible Bidder(s) who submit(s) the lowest and best bid(s), or it may reject all bids. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of **five percent (5%)** of the bid price in the Contract Documents in the form of either a certified check, an irrevocable letter of credit drawn on a commercial bank and made payable to the DISTRICT, or by a Bidder's Bond accompanied by a Power of Attorney executed by an approved Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of Nebraska.

Site visit

A non-mandatory site visit for prospective Bidders will be held on November 23, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., CST, at the Stanton North 115 Substation located at 84048 564th Avenue, Stanton, Nebraska, 68779.
