Flow Meter Inspection, Calibration and Testing- Service

Rockland County Sewer District #1 (RCSD#1) is seeking a qualified supplier to provide annual calibration and testing of all Flowmeters at pump stations located throughout Rockland County.

There are currently approximately 29 Flowmeters. The number of Flow Meters may vary slightly throughout the year.

Awarded Supplier must provide Calibration stickers and written Certificate of Calibration for all meters that pass the calibration and test.

There is no travel expense reimbursement associated with this award.

All work must be performed during normal business hours from **7:00am -3:00pm Monday through Friday**.

Flowmeter locations, Manufacturer Model # and last calibration dates can be found in Bid Section 12.

Bidders must have in-house instrumentation Engineers or Technicians, and the necessary meters and tools needed to test and calibrate meters in accordance with the manufacturers requirements and have a minimum of three (3) years performing the scope of work at Wastewater Treatment Facilities. [...] Bidders must include minimum three references for other Wastewater treatments plants they have been providing flowmeter calibration and testing for.

Bidders must provide lump sum pricing to include the cost for inspecting, calibrating and testing the meters, putting calibration stickers on all meters that pass the calibration and test and submitting written Certificate of Calibration.

The contractor shall be responsible for providing all tools and equipment necessary to efficiently perform all work in a professional manner and workmanlike manner.

Bids for the above referenced bid number and title will be received until **3:00 PM on Thursday, November 19th, 2026** via **electronic bid submission through the BONFIRE Portal** or at the Rockland County Purchasing Department. LATE BIDS will NOT be considered.

TERMS: One Year with Four (4) one-year options.

Contract will be awarded in total to the lowest responsible responsive bidder meeting the stated requirements.

The County of Rockland requires a current insurance certificate, with the County of Rockland listed as additional insured, to be on file in the Purchasing Department. You will be given five (5) business days from notice of award to supply this form or the award will be rescinded.

Filing of Affidavit of Disclosure is **mandatory** when submitting your bid for this project.
