The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (“MTA” or “Authority”) hereby issues this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for the performance of as-needed Environmental Consultant Monitoring and Management Services for Asbestos, Lead, and Biological Abatement activities on behalf of its affiliates and subsidiaries as further described in the attached Statements of Work (“SOW(s)”).
The MTA’s subsidiary and affiliate Agencies to which this RFP pertains are Metro-North Commuter Railroad Company (“MNR”), Long Island Railroad Company (“LIRR”), and New York City Transit Authority (including MTA Bus Company) (collectively “NYCT”). Each SOW identifies the applicable MTA Agency.
The Services will involve the supervision, air-monitoring, and support for asbestos and lead removal activities including, but not limited to, asbestos abatement and/or replacement operations required for rehabilitation and/or construction projects at various locations throughout the Agency operating territories
