Metropolitan - Nuclear Camera Suite Renovation GC Work and MISC MEP Trades

New York City Health + Hospitals is soliciting competitive sealed bids for the Nuclear Camera Suite Renovation at Metropolitan Hospital Center, 1901 1st Avenue, New York, NY 10029. The project is a construction contract that includes all trades, under a single prime contract.

The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:

• Selective demolition of existing building loading dock area/floors including but not limited to, multiple roof levels, interior finishes and potions of building MEP systems to allow for installs while the hospital will remain occupied and operational.
• Areas of new construction (renovation/alteration) portion to include: Basement floor renovation of the existing loading dock. Scope of work to include hazardous abatement, demolition, new partitions, new insulated roll up doors, dock levelers, scissor lifts, repair of existing drainage, new loading dock concrete slabs and new loading area exterior grade concrete slabs.

Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.

Owner will furnish products indicated. The Work includes receiving, unloading, handling, storing, protecting, and installing Owner-furnished products.

**Mandatory** pre-bid meeting: only bidders who attend will be allowed to bid.

The Contractor shall not make subcontracts totaling more than 75% of the Contract Price nor Provide Less than 25% of the Labor Requirement of the Project with the Contractor's own employees.

All Bids shall be in accordance with the terms of the NYC Health and Hospitals (HHC) Project Labor Agreement. The awarded contractor will be required to execute and submit a *Letter of Assent* to NYC H+H.

M/WBE goals of 30% apply to any bid submitted of $500,000 or more. Bidders not complying with these terms will have their bids declared non-responsive.

Owner will occupy site and existing building(s) during entire construction period. Limit work in the existing building to be between the hours of 7am-3pm.
