Rehabilitate Emergency Exits.

The Work of this Contract includes providing stairway pressurization systems to thirteen (13) exits across Manhattan and Queens on the 63rd street line to keep them free of smoke in the event of fire.

The Contractor will be responsible for installing pressurization systems that will pull fresh air from street level to nine (9) of the emergency exits and connecting alarm systems from existing the LIRR system to New York City Transit Authority alarm system at the remaining four (4) exits which already have pressurization systems.

This is an A + B Contract.

Funding: 100% MTA. Est $ Range: Over $10M - $50M.

Persons who plan to attend the Site Tour are **required** to bring their own personal protective equipment, including: a hard hat, heavy-sold safety work shoes, safety glasses, and an orange reflective safety vest.
