Penn West University is seeking to retain a Work Order Contract with a qualified contractor(s) to address environmentally hazardous substances on an as needed basis. The contractor(s) must be physically located within an 80-mile radius of three campuses to provide quick on-site emergency services if called upon.
The University may award up to 3 contracts for this work.
Work included under this Unit Price Contract consists of the abatement of environmentally hazardous substance in various buildings at Penn West University, California, Clarion & Edinboro Campuses. Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials and lead-based paint. The contractor shall furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and perform all work necessary to complete each project to the satisfaction of, and subject to the approval of the University and the State System of Higher Education.
This contract is intended to be issued as a one-year contract renewable for up to two (2) additional two-year terms (total of five years possible). This Contract will be a unit-priced Work Order Contract for Construction Contract, against which Individual Work Orders will be issued as services are needed.
