The Bedford County Department of Finance is requesting proposals on a 2026 or 2027 Three Quarter Ton Service Truck with Service Bed for the Bedford County Fire Department.

THIS TRUCK WILL BE USED AS A HIGHWAY SAFETY TRUCK THEREFORE THE ENGINE MUST NOT HAVE AN AUTO SHUT OFF AT IDLE. TRUCK MUST BE DELIVERED BY JUNE 30, 2027.

Sealed bids will be received until **2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2026**, in the office of the Bedford County Department of Finance and will be opened publicly at that time.

Bids **must** be delivered in hand or by a mail service in a sealed envelope marked on the outside lower left corner with the bid name and bid number. Facsimile bids will not be considered. Any bids received after the scheduled closing time will be returned to the bidder unopened.

All proposals are to be made on the *Proposal Form* provided. Please complete the enclosed *Vendor Packet* and return with bid: *Form A* - Vendor Acknowledgement Letter, *Form B* - Iran Divestment Act Affidavit, *Form C* - Title VI Contract Assurance, *Form D* - Vendor Certification of Eligibility and Non-Collusion, W-9 Form, and Proof of Liability Insurance (required if performing work on County property).

Lowest and/or best bid will be awarded. Payment will not be made until the products are approved as meeting all specifications by the Bedford County Department of Finance.
