Building G Generator Replacement - HQ Follow Solicitation

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is requesting proposals for the replacement of the existing generator located at DPS Headquarters Campus in Building G.

The project scope includes the demolition and removal of the existing equipment, as well as the installation, configuration, and testing of a fully operational new generator system. All work must be executed in strict accordance with the approved construction documents, plans, and technical specifications.

• Disconnect and remove existing generator and all auxiliary equipment (battery charger, etc.).
• Proposed location of new 1000KW generator.
• New service-rated ATS.
• New docking station. Provide NEMA 3R dual-purpose docking station per specifications.
• Provide temporary generator and connections as required to maintain power to emergency loads in the building during construction. Outages shall be planned with owner 48 hours prior.
• Patch/repair wall and roof openings where exhaust duct and piping are removed.
• Refer to civil drawings for scope of site work, including removal of concrete, new generator pad, new enclosure, signage, etc.

Your submission must include all **mandatory** proposal materials and information.

Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing and must be submitted to DPS's Contract Administrator, Norma Cervantes or via the DPS Online Bid Room by the date and time noted in the table listed in this solicitation.

Before submitting a bid, each bidder shall carefully examine the site of work. Owner has first right of refusal on all existing equipment to be demolished as part of this project (e.g. ATS & generator).
