Scope
PPE Washer Specifications
Each unit must meet or exceed the following requirements:
- NFPA compliant
- Touch screen user interface to navigate between wash cycles.
- 6 kW electric heat element to maintain water temperature at 120°F for duration of presoak and main wash phases of each cycle.
- Drum volume minimum 4 Cubic Feet to accommodate 4 pieces of bunker gear.

- Dual Pump Automatic Detergent Dosing Pump System
- Minimum 15” base for improved ergonomics during loading and unloading.
- Displayed countdown timer for remaining run time.
- Preprogrammed bunker gear wash cycles, separate configurations for outer shells and inner liners.
- Will not exceed 100G force exerted on bunker gear during extraction spin.
- Interdependently listed and certified.
- Stainless steel top and side panels
- Units must be New. We will not accept used or reconditioned items.
- 10 signal ports to accommodate detergent applications.
- Integrated 4 compartment soap box that flushes each compartment independently.

- Able to increase ambient temperature by 20 degrees or more.
- Multiple gear hanging stations capable of drying multiple sets of bunker gear at one time. Preferred minimum of 4.

- Multiple stainless steel helmet drying racks. Preferred minimum of 4.
- Multiple accessory drying stations. Preferred minimum of 12.
- Quick select timer options of 2, 3, 4, 5 hours
- Displayed countdown timer for remaining run time.
- Custom timer option available to select specific dry times to the minute.
- Continuous run option.
- Interdependently listed and certified.
- Completely portable, movable, and will roll through any standard doorway with 360-degree casters.
- Uses 20 amp plug 6-20P.
- Fan: high volume, high pressure to ensure air reaches all the hard to dry areas. (Minimum 800 CFM).
- 1 HP motor directly coupled to fan, no maintenance unit. Auto thermal Protection, Ball bearing class B insulation.
- 2 kW heating element to increase ambient air temperature.
- Motor, fan and all electronics housed in removable power pack, protected in plastic enclosure for safety and noise reduction.
- Shut off valves on accessory drying locations.
- 12-gauge steel construction, powder coat paint on air chamber and base.
- Minimum five-year comprehensive warranty including all electronic motors and parts
- Units must be New. We will not accept used or reconditioned items.
