Student Nutrition Refrigerated Truck

Galena Park Independent School District (“GPISD” or “the “District”) is soliciting proposals for RFP 27-006 Student Nutrition Refrigerated Truck. Details are more fully set out in the Request for Proposals (“RFP”).

GPISD is looking to obtain proposals from vendors that can provide a Low Cab Forward Truck with Refrigerated Van Body for Student Nutrition.

It is the intention of GPISD to establish one contract with a highly qualified Vendor for the provision and delivery of one (1) Refrigerated Truck.

Vendors are encouraged to offer their total line of available products and services that are commonly purchased by governmental entities, school districts, and other public, not-for-profit agencies and organizations. Any applicable Vendor terms and conditions should be included for the products or services offered. GPISD reserves the right to accept or reject any items included by Vendor in this section.

Awards will be made to the successful Vendor(s) for the total line of products and services submitted. Proposals can be made for any or all services and products described herein.

Submission method

Galena Park ISD prefers responses to be submitted online via our electronic system. Submissions may be submitted manually. Manual submissions must be delivered to the Purchasing Department, in a sealed envelope by the close date and time stated in this bid event. No fax or email submissions will be accepted. Manual submission shall consist of one (1) original hard copy and one (1) electronic flash drive.

All proposers are required to respond to this RFP using the GPISD eBid System. The forms included in the Attachment Packet must be completed, signed, scanned, and attached under “Response Attachments” in the eBid System.

Any proposal received later than the specified time, whether delivered in person or by any other method shall be disqualified.

Contract term

The Initial Term of the prospective contract is a period of one (1) year, as a one time purchase with no renewals. GPISD contract for this RFP begins January 12, 2027 through January 1, 2028. No contract shall be executed until it has been reviewed and approved by the Board of Trustees of the District (“Board”) in a duly called and posted meeting of the Board.
