Sealed bids will be accepted for the following project: PROJECT NO.: 2026-064 G (1-2) TITLE: BBCC - Bldg. 1800 (ATEC) Remodel AGENCY: FPS for Big Bend Community College PROJECT MANAGER: Barbie Downing ESTIMATED BID COST RANGE: $900,000.00 to $1,400,000.00

The project consists of renovating the Masto Conference Room and miscellaneous audio/visual equipment to the buildings corridors.

The project consists of renovating the Masto Conference Room and miscellaneous audio/visual equipment to the buildings corridors. Work consists of, but is not limited to, removing existing wood chair rail, wood paneling, and wood base down to wall substrate and then replacing with new wood chair rail, wood paneling, and wood base. Adding acoustical wall panels above new chair rail to existing wall substrate, and addition of miscellaneous audio/visual equipment both in conference rooms and corridors.

Alternates

• Alternate No. 1 (additive – acoustical wall panels and interior architectural wood): Work indicated on drawings and specifications.
• Alternate No. 2 (additive – new projectors and screens): Replace exiting projectors and screens with new projectors and screens. Work indicated on drawings and specifications.
• Alternate No. 3 (additive – new cameras, speakers, and microphones): Replace exiting cameras, speakers, and microphones with new cameras, speakers, and microphones. Work indicated on drawings and specifications.

**Submission method:** Submit online at DES Public Procurement Portal: https://deswa.bonfirehub.com. Bids should be submitted no later than **1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 10, 2026**, for the Virtual Public Bid Opening on Microsoft Teams, held at approximately 1:30 PM.

Bidders must submit *Subcontractor Listing Forms* A and B for all bids, regardless of whether the listed categories of work are included in the project. Form A (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical) is due with the bid proposal **at time of bid submittal**; failure to submit Form A with the bid will render the bid non-responsive. Form B (Structural Steel Install, Rebar Install) must be submitted no later than 48 hours after the bid submittal deadline via email to FPSsubcontractorlist@des.wa.gov.

Supplemental Bidder Responsibility will be evaluated for this project.

Mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of the construction contract.

The State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this public works project located in Grant County.

Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% SBE or PWSBE, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project.

The State reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
