Traffic Signal Parts

Waukesha County is requesting bids for Traffic Signal Parts for our Highway Department.

It is the intent of this specification to describe the minimum requirements for Traffic Signal Parts for Waukesha County. All items, details of construction, services or features not specifically mentioned which are regularly furnished in order to provide the services described herein shall be furnished at the bid price and shall conform in strength, quality, and workmanship to that usually provided by the practice indicated in the Invitation to Bid.

Vendor must be an authorized distributor/reseller for the identified traffic signal parts. Evidence must be submitted upon request.

Waukesha County may issue Purchase Orders for catalog items on an as-needed basis. No purchase, minimum quantity, or expenditure is guaranteed under this contract.

The Contractor shall furnish only those items and quantities specifically identified on the applicable Purchase Order. [...]

Exact quantities cannot be determined, however, estimates are listed in the Bid Table based on one year's prior usage. Quantities listed may be increased or decreased to meet the requirements of the County during the period of this contract. A minimum is not guaranteed.

All deliveries are to be F.O.B. destination to the Waukesha County Department of Public Works, Highway Operations Center, 1641 Woodburn Road, Waukesha, Wisconsin, 53188.

The seller and/or manufacturer warrants that the goods sold hereunder will be of merchantable quality, conform to applicable specifications, be free from material and workmanship defects and will be fit for the particular purpose intended.

Award(s) will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder(s) that comply with all specifications and can meet the delivery requirements. Note: Award will NOT be made to firms that check "Does Not Comply" for any of the requirements.

The term of this agreement will be for a two (2) year period; commencing approximately 12/1/2026 through 11/30/2028. This agreement may be extended for three (3) one-year periods, upon mutual agreement between the vendor and the County.

All quoted conditions and prices submitted shall remain firm for ninety (90) calendar days from opening date.

Any requests for changes, clarifications, etc., MUST be submitted in writing to the Waukesha County Procurement Division, to the attention of the Buyer whose name appears in the Pricing Document, at least five working days prior to the bid opening.
