The work shall be done in accordance with the Standard Plans 2024 and Standard Specifications 2024, of the California Department of Transportation and in accordance with the Special Provisions.
Said work shall be completed and ready for acceptance within 5 working days following the date of commencement of Contract Time stated in the Notice to Proceed.
**Submission:** Sealed bids must be submitted to the County Clerk of the Board, County of Sutter, 1160 Civic Center Blvd, Ste A, Yuba City, CA 95993, by **10:00 A.M. (local time) on December 3, 2026**. No verbal, telegraphic, electronic mail, facsimile, or telephone Bids will be considered. Each Bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Contract Documents.
Bids must be on a unit price basis. The County shall determine the lowest responsible, responsive bidder based on the lowest TOTAL BASE BID.
**Bid security:** Each Bid must be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check, or cashier's check payable to the County of Sutter, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
**Licensing:** The Contractor must have a **Class A** license or other appropriate license classification.
