SEWER PIPELINE REHABILITATION FY 21/22

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN THAT ELECTRONIC BIDS will be received by the City of Chula Vista ("City") through vendor PlanetBids until 2:00 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened through PlanetBids for performing work as follows:

SEWER PIPELINE REHABILITATION FY21/22 CIP #SWR0322 (the "Project").

The Contractor and its subcontractors are required to pay prevailing wage ("Prevailing Wage Rates") to persons employed by them in any contract entered into pursuant to this Notice.

The Contractor has 60 consecutive working days to complete the Project.

**Submission method:** Bids must be submitted **electronically through PlanetBids** at www.planetbids.com/portal/portal.cfm?CompanyID=15381. Bidders will not be able to electronically submit or modify their bids after the stated deadline.

The apparent three lowest Bidders must submit original bid documents to the City of Chula Vista's City Engineer at 276 Fourth Avenue, Building B, Chula Vista Ca 91910 within three (3) consecutive working days after the bid submission deadline.

Each bid must be accompanied by certified or cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. No bidder's Guaranty is required if the bid amount is fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) or less.

Performance and Labor and Material Bonds are required for bids greater than $25,000. Contractor must provide evidence of insurance within ten (10) days after the award of the contract.

The award of the Contract will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the City.

The City further reserves the right to take all bids under advisement for a period of one-hundred and twenty (120) calendar days after the bid submission deadline.
