Intended Single Source: Automated Controls of Newberry, LLC for the purchase of Automated Logic Controls as the County's Building Automated Controls System.

This is a Notice for a Single Source Source designation for Alachua County Board of County Commissioners.

Justification for Single Source Acquisition:

We use Automated Logic controls as the building automated control system at Community Support Services/Health Department, Records Building, New Ag Center and the State Attorney's Office is has been scheduled to have the system added.

Automated Logic software is proprietary but may be integrated with third-party, non-proprietary components (BACnet(R)).

Automated Logic system has the ability to integrate with our current access control system, solar installations, centralized alarm systems, lighting, HVAC, and some of our elevators.

Automated Logic system will provide standardization of building automated system County-Wide.

This is not a formal solicitation and there are no submissions required. The proposed action is for product or services for which the County intends to negotiate and award with only one source under the authority of and in accordance with Florida State Statute 287.057(3)(c). Any responses received as a result of this Notice of Intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as proposals, bids, or quotes.

The description of services intended for purchase from a Single/Sole Source is posted in accordance with section 287.057(3)(c), Florida Statutes and will be posted for a minimum of **15 business days**.
