2026-23 Sheriff's Vehicles

Catoosa County Board of Commissioners are seeking sealed written bids, from qualified vendors, to provide Ten (10) 4-Door SUV Police Package Vehicles, and One (1) 3.5L Ford Expedition Active 4x4 SUV. The vehicles shall be delivered to the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office located at 5842 US-41, Ringgold, GA 30736 complete and ready to operate.

The Catoosa County Board of Commissioners reserve the right to make individual awards for each specific vehicle or line item, rather than awarding a single contract for all vehicles in a “lump sum” or all-or-none basis. Bids will be evaluated on a per-item or per-group basis to determine the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for each specific item or group.

Submitted bids will be scored equally for 4 different types of vehicles:

1. Ford Expedition Active 4x4 SUV w/ 3.5L V6 Engine
2. Ford Police Interceptor Utility AWD w/ 3.0L V6 Engine
3. Dodge Durango Pursuit AWD w/ 3.6L V6 Engine
4. Dodge Durango Pursuit AWD w/ 5.7L Hemi V8 Engine

Detailed specifications are on Pages 7-10. Build sheets should be included with your bid to verify equipment and adherence to specifications.

Vendor understands that only One (1) 3.5L Ford Expedition Active 4x4 SUV and Ten (10) 4-Door SUV Police Package Vehicles will be awarded.

Vendor may bid on specific vehicle or all vehicles. If Vendor wishes not to bid, on a line item, please write “No Bid” on Page 11.

Submission

TWO (2) Copies of your Bid must be sealed and delivered in person, by mail or overnight delivery service to the office of the Board of Commissioners, 800 Lafayette Street, Ringgold, GA 30736 no later than **2:00 P.M. EST on Thursday, November 19, 2026**. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after said time will not be accepted.

Bids shall include a cover letter that includes your plan for accomplishing the Scope of Work.

Bids shall be identified on the exterior of the sealed envelope with all the information required by law, including the name of the project and the Respondent's name, address and license number, expiration date and classification (as applicable).

Evaluation

Catoosa County reserves the right to accept the lowest responsive & responsible Bid that is determined to be in the best interest of the County.

Insurance and licensing

Contractor must have minimum Worker’s Comp and General Liability Insurance in full force and effect. Each Respondent shall submit with its bid a copy of current Business License &/or Occupational Tax Certificate issued in Georgia.

Bid validity

THIS BID FEE SHALL REMAIN EFFECTIVE FOR 60 DAYS.
