Bid Ref. #27-030 Albany Pipe Rehabilitation - Phase I

Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Albany, Procurement Division, 222 Pine Avenue, Suite 260, Albany, Georgia 31701, until **2:30 p.m. on November 11, 2026**, for all work required for the pre-rehabilitation cleaning, inspection, and rehabilitation of approximately 5,000 linear feet of large diameter sanitary sewer mains and 15 sanitary manholes along Schley Avenue between McLain Lane and Lift Station #67 in accordance with bid documents, specifications, and all other contract documents contained herein.

The Albany Pipe Rehabilitation project consists of the pre-rehabilitation cleaning and inspection, followed by the rehabilitation of existing sanitary manholes and large diameter sanitary sewer mains in Albany, Georgia. The work is located on the north side of the city and consists of the following phase:

- Phase 1: Approximately 5,000 feet of sanitary sewer along Schley Avenue between McLain Lane and Lift Station #67 and 15 manholes.

Contractor's bid shall include all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, and all other items necessary to complete the contract requirements in accordance with bid documents, special instructions, specifications, and all other provisions included in this bid document.

The Bid Tabulation Form / Unit Cost Schedule lists:

• Division 1 - Pipe Rehabilitation: internal pre-video and post-video inspection, sanitary sewer mainline cleaning (24" and 30" dia.), 24" and 30" CIPP mainline rehabilitation, lateral reconnection, bypass pumping, and point repair mainline.
• Division 2 - Manhole Rehabilitation: larger manhole rehabilitation, polyurethane liner.
• Division 3 - General: mobilization, traffic control for construction, and contract bonding cost.

**Submission:** Each bid will be submitted in a **SEALED ENVELOPE** clearly marked on the outside as a Sealed Bid with the Bid Number clearly printed. Bids must be submitted on the bid form. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time and place.

**Award:** This project will be bid on a unit price basis for all specified work and will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder submitting the lowest total base bid.

**Bonds:** A **5% Bid Bond is required** of all bidders. Bid bond must be present for bid to be read or considered. 100% Performance and Payment bonds will be required of the successful bidder.

**Contract time:** Contract must be substantially completed within **180 calendar days** following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages are **$500 per calendar day**.

**Insurance:** Contractor shall maintain liability limits of not less than One Million ($1,000,000) Dollars and name the City as an additional insured.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the bid opening date. Bid documents are available at the Procurement Division, www.albanyga.gov and on the Georgia Procurement Registry.
