2026 Lenovo Desktop and Laptop Computer Bid

The Village of Schaumburg Information Technology Department (hereafter known as Village) is seeking firm pricing for new Lenovo desktop and laptop computers for specific Village locations.

The intent of this Invitation for Bid is to enable the Village of Schaumburg's Department of Information Technology to establish relationships with vendors for 2026 Lenovo Desktop and Laptop Computer Bid.

This contract will be for the purchase and delivery of seven (7) new Lenovo desktop computers and twelve (12) new Laptop computers as specified below. These systems are to be all new parts; no refurbished components will be allowed.

The Supplier, and supply chain, who is awarded the bid must be an Authorized Reseller for the Manufacturer. Proof of authorization must be included with the bid.

The successful bidder will coordinate with the Village's Information Technology Department on the delivery date, location, and installation. The equipment will be delivered F.O.B. to the following location within the Village, as directed by the Village Information Technology Department: 101 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg, IL 60193 Attn: Spencer Dulaney

Installation of the Lenovo desktop and laptop computers will be performed by others and is not included in this bid.

The bid price shall include a five (5) year manufacturer, next business day, on-site warranty for Desktop Computers, including parts and labor.

The bid price shall include a three (3) year manufacturer, next business day, on-site warranty for Laptop Computers, including parts and labor.

The bid price shall include a one (1) year Battery, next business day, on-site warranty for Laptop Computers, including parts and labor.

The Village is looking to purchase only Lenovo products at this time. No other manufacturers will be accepted.

The Village of Schaumburg, IL will accept sealed bids via the Village's e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov (https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/villageofschaumburg) for 2026-IFB-065, 2026 Lenovo Desktop and Laptop Computer Bid to be received no later than **Wednesday, November 18, 2026, 11:00 am**. Bids submitted after the specified time will not be accepted.

Prices quoted must be valid for a minimum of 90 days from the date of the bid opening.

Bidders intending to respond to this opportunity must create a FREE account with OpenGov by signing up at https://procurement.opengov.com/signup.

The form of contract between the Village and the successful Bidder will be a purchase order referencing the bid specification, the bid submitted by the successful Bidder, and the resulting purchasing order.

Payment shall be made within 30 days of invoice receipt and approval, unless otherwise specified in the agreed upon contract.

The Bidder will provide certificates of insurance evidencing the following types and limits of insurance. The General Liability coverage shall name the Village of Schaumburg as additional insured.

• Comprehensive General Liability: not less than **$1,000,000**/occurrence, **$2,000,000**/policy limit.
• Automobile Liability: not less than **$1,000,000** combined single limit.
• Umbrella or Excess Liability: **$2,000,000**.
• Employer's Liability: not less than **$500,000** each accident, **$500,000** disease – policy limit, and **$500,000** disease – each employee.
• Insurance Rating: minimum A. M. Best rating of A:VII.
